Rated 5 out of 5 by from Allen ® 100-Grain Carbon Field Point The Allen Carbon Field Point combines penetration with knock-down power in a value-priced arrowhead. Using my 150-lb Barnett Jackel crossbow, I field-tested the 100 grain Allen field point on three out-of-the-box 20-inch Devastator carbon bolts. I inspected the points and shafts before and after testing. I found no structural wear after 15 shots with each bolt. This means that the Allen carbon points effectively distributed the impact load evenly back through the shaft.The target I use is a solid Styrofoam block at a 30-yard range. Shot precision averaged 1.5 MOA .For small game and varmint hunting, I would recommend Allen Carbon Field Points.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not accurately built The thread was not set to hold the point in place, thought that could be related to my arrows. The true point of contention was that when I got my calipers out I found them to be closer to 5/16 or 11/32. I should have expected it, and getting the Allen field points with rubber rings to lock them in place are much better. More expensive, but really how often are you replacing these? Pay the extra and get the better product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Carbon Arrows I switched from aluminum to carbon arrows two years ago but kept using my old field points for practice. I had a hard time removing the arrows from my bag target because the field point was slightly larger in diameter than the arrow shaft. I switched to the Allen Carbon Field Point and it solved my arrow removal issue. My arrow flight has not changed, so the product worked perfectly for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy Product I am learning to make my own wooden arrows and so I bought these field points to tip the arrows. They fit into the slots I had made for them with little to no trouble. When I tested the arrows, these tips were not overwaight for the wood I was using. Very satisfied with the product. I did find the same for a couple bucks cheaper elseware but the local Dick's was more convenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is what it is. I bought these field points on sale and they work as advertised/intended. No complaints here. They fit flush with my Gold Tip Deer Hunter shafts, as well as my Gold Tip crossbow bolts (both carbon). You may want to look for the 125 grain to match/test to comparable broadhead weights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate and Good I like these tips, they are the first ones I got with my bow. Shot about 100 arrows with these and then tried a broad head and it was identical weight. The arrows flight pattern didn't change really at all. Great tips for practicing without a big change when going to hunting tips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Puts holes in things, what do you expect Oh my golly gee goodness! This thing is amazing. Screw it onto an arrow shaft and fire away. Guaranteed to put holes in your target. Which, when you think about it, kinda is no bueno. I mean, I spend good money on targets and this thing ruins them by putting holes in them.

So far the points have held up well in both target and 3D animals used in practice and tournaments. I would purchase these again the next time we are getting more arrows for our kids.
