Basically these are Patagonia baggies dupes, with better pockets and a more robust waistband/cord. Solid construction, fit for the price, especially on sale.

Great Short For Activities

If you are looking for shorts to do activities in that will be good in wet or dry conditions, these should do the trick. They have an integrated liner like a swimming suit and are made of material that would dry quickly. The material is a little heavier than other all conditions shorts I have had, but that is probably good if you intend to go hiking. They should not easily snag or tear. As the description says, they are 5" shorts so you need to be comfortable with the shorter style tp enjoy these.

Lightweight And Comfortable Shorts, That Are Nice For Casual Or Active Wear.

This pair of shorts was lightweight and comfortable. They fell to right above the knee and they weren’t too baggy. I enjoyed how breathable they were. They do have an inner brief so if that is something your prefer in shorts this style has you covered. I was able to wear these as casual wear.

Alpine Design Versatile Shorts

These shorts are versatile and equipped for multiple activities. They are best suited for hiking and water activities. I am not a fan of the mesh liner as I have thick legs and they tend to irritate me. I do like the mesh pockets and zippered back pocket as they keep my belongings secure and quick to dry if I am submerged unexpectedly. The material overall performs well both in dry conditions and wet conditions so I am happy with that. Overall I would recommend them for many outdoor uses from hiking to swimming and beyond.

Great Material And Product However, The Lining Is Not Great

So, the material is great. The color is very vibrant and is a well breathing fabric. The only downfall is the liner itself is uncomfortable and restrictive. If there was an opportunity for a mesh lining, that would be awesome.

Nice Everyday Shorts

The Alpine Design men’s shorts are excellent! They fit well, are great for everyday wear and are very comfortable . I like the design, length, feel and material. I like the pockets on the sides. I love the Alpine Design colorful logo on the back of the shorts. I would definitely recommend these shorts to wear anytime.

A Great Pair Of Shorts !

A great pair of shorts to work out in or swim. They are made of great wicking material and dry extremely fast. 1 side pockets and zippered rear pocket are essential for your personal belongings. The drawstring is made with a "no slip" material keeping the laces tied at all times and never knotting. The linear is mesh and very soft making them comfortable. These shorts are awesome and I will be looking to purchase another pair in a different color.

Great For My Son!!

While these shorts did not fit me, they fit my 22-year old son quite well. The fabric was very comfortable, according to him, but I couldn’t wear them because there was no give in the fabric to fit over my thighs. Great pair of shorts tho!
