Not Bad, The Pants Are Just Better.
Got both these and the pants. Ended up returning these and keeping the pants. They're both the same thick material but it felt more useful in a pant than a pair of shorts. I'd rather the material be light if its going to be this short but I imagine they're very durable. I don't think they're bad but not for me.

Practical Yet Stylish
These shorts definitely wash well. I’ve washed 5 times now and they look the same. That’s hard to find.
