Squeals Like And Angry Pig!!

They are awesome except the squeaking. It is so obnoxious I can't get past it. I even tried plugging the hole in the sole with epoxy. Didn't work. Fix this and they'll be the perfect shoe.

Loudest Shoes I've Ever Owned

Fits fantastically for shape, cushion and, responsiveness. Pretty well balanced shoe that is a great "daily runner". Not sure if I received a defective pair, but they squeak incessantly. Truly they are loudest shoes I've ever owned. They remind me of SpongeBob's boots.... Customer support gave some lazy answers about adding fresh insoles, or pouring powder into them. Continued wear has made them louder.

Color Weird - Shoe Awesome!

The color is definitely light blue, which surprised me based on the web photos. I literally had to watch a YouTube and painted them myself(oddly fun). I have been buying Altras for 10 yrs and this was surprising. The shoe is phenomenal as usual and I'll buy them again.

Added Stiffness In The Midsole Is A Dealbreaker...

I've been through three pairs of the original Outroad. Perfect for my mix of road, gravel, grass and light trails. Very flexible with plenty of cushioning. The Outroad 2 feels nothing like the original. Very, very stiff in the forefoot and midfoot, with much stiffer cushioning. Also, the upper is a much thicker material, and there seems to be a more significant/stiffer heel counter in the Outroad 2. All combine to make this a poor fit for my needs. I'll keep trying to chase down new old stock of the original Outroad, rather than buying another pair of Outroad 2.

Eyelets On Both Sides Of Both Shoes Broke At Less Than 100mi

Purchased at a local runners roost. Shoe felt great in the store. Love that they accommodate wide feet. Can't use a shoe that doesn't lace though. 1/5 for bad quality.
