I spent a week canoeing up to 8 hours a day. These helped prevent sunburn and blisters. My only issue is where the fingers stopped covering. It was a bit too short for my long fingers.

Great For The Gym

Poorly Place Seam
After 30 minutes of light paddling (kayak) both of my thumbs were irritated and I had formed a blister on one. Great padding for the area between the index finger and thumb but there's a very large seam along the thumb.

Doesn't Work For Everyone
Got them to prevent blisters when kayaking. Worked fine for me, but my wife got a minor blister and my adult son got two bad blisters.

Sailing Gloves
I bought these gloves for my US Sailing Basic Cruising course, in San Francisco CA June 2018. I used bike gloves for the Keelboat class, in British VI July 2017, which weren't/aren't enough "glove" to do the job. These gloves, which aren't labeled sailing gloves are enough "glove" to perform the tasks of sailing and more.

Great Gloves
I am a firm believer in gloves. I have gloves I ride my bicycle with and gloves that I ride my Harley with. I bought these gloves and they do everything a glove is supposed to do. My hand stays relaxed and no blisters or sore spots. A+++++

Paddling Gloves
The clerk and I found this pair of gloves (Stohlquist WaterWare - Warmers Barnacle Half-Finger Paddling Gloves) somewhat away from where they might have been put more logically, but after trying them on decoded they were what I needed to protect may hands. Had them out several times whenever there was a bit of sun or warmth and they performed admirably. Looking forward for a long and comfortable warm season with them.
