Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Go To Boot I just purchased by 4th and 5th pair of these boots. My first two both lasted a year everyday wear. I lived in a place with lots of road salt and I blame that not the boots. The would dry up after the first winter and no amount of cleaning-conditioning would fix/prevent. My third pair has now gone 2 years in a better climate. (Still snowy but not 5 months of snow). If i would have treated they may have gone even longer. I wear my boots every single day, work 10-12 hrs, motorcycle rides, church, dates. I ordered two pares this time so I can alternate each day and let them dry out. It should help them last. I love these boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ariat for life now I bought my first pair or boots, and they happened to be these Ariat Sierra Saddles, about 4 months ago. I now wear them everyday and they are one of two pairs of shoes i own. THese boots break in super easy and don't really hurt your feet too much during the break in process. THey also look good with dress clothes even after theyre dirty so I can still wear them to church on sundays. Fit very true to size and would 15/10 recommend these boots to anyone looking for a comfortable easy to break in good looking boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent boot I got these coming up on 3 years ago. I've worn these nearly every day since my purchase as both my work, and casual boots. I work in construction and these have been used standing for long periods on concrete, walking, hiking, fishing, lots of digging, walking on rafters, and have been soaked through more times then I can count. They have taken a serious beating. The sole started separating in a small spot on the side of one after about a year of every day wear. after two years it was a little more separated and the other was begining to separate, and the bottoms were starting to have holes in them. Now nearing 3 years and the sole is nearly off of one, holes in the bottom of both. Side seams are wearing but holding up well. The leather is still in pretty good condition, but I use saddle soap and mink oil about every 3 months. Really the only thing wrong with these is the soles, new soles and they would last several more years. The mink oil makes them pretty water resistant but once water can get into the soles like mine, it gets inside the boot pretty easily. I was completely wearing out regular shoes about every 4-6 months, and wore out a pair of cats in 6 months, so tried these for better comfort and longevity and I'm satisfied with the results. I will be getting a pair of the Workhog boots this week and will start phasing these out. I look forward to writing a review of the new ones in a few years. I wear a smaller size in these, and the wide fit much better, I don't normally wear wide

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding boot!! I bought this boot about a month ago and would buy again. Great fit and very comfortable. I average about 8 to 12 hours a day in this boot and that's 8 to 12 hours on my feet working. No fatigue or aches from wearing these boots for extended periods of time. More than a few compliments from friends and co-workers about these boots. First Ariat's I've owned, but not the last. Already looking at other Ariat boots. Stylish, comfortable, and practical sum up this boot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good looking but very uncomfortable Bought boots a about 6 weeks ago. Good looking boot but horrible comfort. I get some many compliments on them and are very durable but at the end of the day my feet are screaming and I can't wait to take them off. Ariat was high recommended to me but I can't say if I would buy ariats again. I like having a work boot sole but they don't flex well and I think that's why they hurt my feet so bad. It's like walking with bricks on the bottom

Rated 5 out of 5 by from too good! This is my second pair of Ariats- I've had the Heritage Deertan for dress purposes for 5 years now and they are still going strong. I got them for winter wear around town because they had a rubber sole. Since they are just now wearing down and getting slippery, I thought I would get a more aggressive sole and boot for the Upper Michigan winters to run around in when insulated boots are too much. Just got the Sierra Saddle in redwood and (as perfectionist as I am) I have to rave about the high quality and great construction! Not a stitch out of place. I had first gotten the "aged bark" but that leather is a sort of rough-out/unfinished leather that would soak up water/snow/ like a sponge. These I can polish. I was a little unsure about the blue shaft, but it looks great with jeans and after seeing it I like it a lot. I am technically a size 12 1/2 but who makes such an animal? The aged bark pair were 13 and fit like clown shoes. These are 12 and are keepers. Thanks Ariat! You have my respect and my business.
