Great Until The Weren’t
The comfort of the boot was perfect, but then the sole of the boot separated from the rest of the boot. For a boot that costs 200 plus, you would expect better build quality. Disappointed. :(

Lining Doesn't Stay Secured.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved this boot when I first started wearing them. The shock shield was awesome. The downside was the lining began to pull up when taking the boots off making them unwearable. These boots lasted less than 4 months and proved to be a waste of money. In the past I've worn Ariat workhog square toes and they lasted much longer than these.

Great Boot. Broke Down Less Than A Year.
This is a fantastic boot for the shock shield. The shock shield is real, and I love it. I've had them 8-9 months. I've relied on Ariat as a brand for years now for cowboy work boots loyally. Ariat is the absolute best for cowboy-style work boots. In the years past getting non-shockshield Ariat cowboy work boots, they've lasted me on average a year and a half to two years. But this boot initially for the first several months is like walking on a cloud, it was beautiful. The sole did not hold up. The heel is WORN OUT in like 9 months. I'm disappointed it didn't hold up longer. But I'll say, the only reason I'm back here months later writing a review is because I'm considering buying another of the same pair. I walk 6-10+ miles a day through every nasty and tough terrain imaginable as a land surveyor. I was just gonna go ahead and buy another pair, but now I'm writing, I'm kind of hoping Ariat will just hook me up with a new pair, haha. It was absolutely fantastic until it wasn't.
