I've always worn Asics and Adidas wrestling shoes, and my favorite of all time Asics Dan Gable Onitsuka Tigers I bought maybe 15 years ago. All leather and lasted all this time. The only reason I am in the market for new ones is that the Tigers are in good enough shape to preserve, but if I keep wearing them they'll blow out eventually. I really struggled in deciding on a new shoe, but Asics was my first stop. I settled on the Aggressor 6 and preordered. The shoes look great, and I wanted to love them, but they weren't for me. Coming off of a thin leather wrestling shoe, the Aggressor 6 felt like a 1980s winter moon boot. The thickness of the entire shoe, most notably the ankle and heel, made me feel like I was not wearing wrestling shoes. I also felt that because of this thickness, they were extremely snug and that breathability was way down. This made me feel like my feet were super hot, and I normally wouldn't even think about foot temperature. As stated in the title, these shoes seem amazing, and if I was coming off of the Aggressor 4 or 5 (or a thicker shoe in general) these would probably be the best shoes ever. But if you are looking for that sock like fit out of the box, these might not be the shoe for you.
