I’ve been wearing Asics shoes for years. The Gel Excite Trail 2 has been the most comfortable pair by far. I walk alot and they hold up great except for the sole. I wore them out in about 6 months of 8 miles a week on a paved bike path. Even so, I would buy again for sure if they came back into production. Feather Grey/Black in 13.

Just What The Achilles Ordered.

Best All Around Trail Running Shoes
New Gel Excite trail 2 running shoes feel amazing. Great support around ankle so foot does not slip forward on steep downhill. Cushioned gel soles noticeably soften uneven and rough dirt trails with rocky surfaces helping foot and knees not tire as much or be sore during or after workout. Great tread provide confidence off road on silty lose dirt particularly downhill. On paved trails the cushioned gel soles are like walking on pillows.
