Terrible Update
Worst Kayano to date. These are by far the worst iteration of the Kayano ever created. From the ribbed inner insoles, to the tight, cheap upper, these are horrible. What happened to the days of the Kayano 30 that they were instantly comfortable right out of the box? These are a huge step backward. I don’t know who at ASICS thought that a cheap thin tongue was a good idea but it isn’t. To top it off, the shoes squeak like crazy. Just plain bad all the way around. Bring back a Kayano 33 like the Kayano 30!

Uncomfortalbe Shoe Tounge
The shoe tongue is changed in the Gel-Kayano 32. Unfortunately, it is not cushioned; it is thin and hard, almost like a plastic one. Very uncomfortable and sharp. It cut my foot. I used Gel-Kayano in the last 10 years as my daily trainer, never having any issues with this model. Unfortunately, version 32 is not for me. I tried to return my shoe, but since I ran in it once, online return is not possible, only in-store return. In the Seattle area, there is no Asics shop, so I ended up eating the cost.

32 Version Disgraces Gel-kayano Quality Legacy
This shoe was my go-to for many years. I bought a new pair recently after avoiding for a few years. The GEL-Kayano 32 is much lower quality and does not love up to this shoe's history. The construction is cheap. The sizing is off and very different than previous versions; the shoe is too wide for a standard medium (D) width causing movement inside the shoe due to an unusual loose fit. I was hoping that ASICS restored the quality to this once very reliable shoe, but unfortunately that is not the case. My purchase is very disappointing.

Awesome Shoes
I bought these shoes on the recommendation of my podiatrist. I had been dealing with bad arthritis in my right big toe (Hallux Rigidus). I bought a pair of the Kayano 31 and they were so good I bought another pair which are the 32. Honestly I can feel the difference etween the 31 and 32 and the 32 is noticeably more comfortable. I wish there was a brown colored version of these shoes. I would also love to see a slip-on version of these.

Not So Happy
These Kayano's are very stable, but they squeak on numerous surfaces, very distracting. I've owned Kayanos for over ten years and this is the first time I've experienced this - I would not purchase again.
