Asics Peaked W The Kayano 31’s
Went through 3 pairs last year of the Gel-Kayano 31’s so I was naturally excited for these new 32’s to drop. Have run I. them a few times now and they pale in comparison to previous iterations. Nothing about these shoes feel like a stability shoe to me anymore. The tongue is made from a flimsier and cheaper material compared to the plush pillowy tongues on the 31’s. Overall it just feels like a cheaper made shoe with less support and a wider toe box.

I have been buying ASICS for nearly 40 years, but not in the last 5 years as I haven't been running. I know the styles have changed. I'm not interested in Hoka-type "mattress" shoe. Won't be buying Asics again.
