One Specific Issue
The gel nimbus model are usually are great shoes. But this specific pair makes a popping noise when walking. I have never had an issue like this before with other gel nimbus and I always have loved this shoe. I am certain it’s only this shoe that has a problem. Otherwise, I love the shoes, very comfortable.

Disappointing Durability For The Price
I bought these shoes expecting the typical ASICS reliability, but the Gel-Nimbus 27 has let me down. Usage: Only 3 months of light, casual walking (not daily). No running or high-intensity activity. The Issue: A hole has developed in the upper mesh material near the toe/side area (see photos). Comfort: While they are comfortable, the build quality is questionable if the material fails this quickly under minimal stress. I wouldn’t recommend these if you are looking for a shoe that lasts, especially given the premium price

The shoe was too roomy in the forefoot. Also, I currently have a Gel-Nimbus 27 and with only 96 miles on them, the cushioning feels like it's all gone. Therefore, I returned this new purchase.
