Comfortable But….
Bout these about 2 weeks ago. They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned including Hoakas. But when I walk on tiles or hardwood flooring they make a popping sound like there’s a suction cup on the bottom of the shoe. It does not make that sound on carpeted floors

Gel-nimbus Reigns Supreme
40+ years of running, logging over 25,000 miles. When I initially set out on my personal running journey I ran on the "hot shoe" of the time, simply and somewhat blindly following the marketing hype. Sadly, this resulted in persistent and notable discomfort from this shoe brand (it wasn't Asics). Then about 15 years ago, at the prompting of a small local and noted running shoe store, I opted to try an Asics runner. Ahhh! From then onward, I told anyone who'd listen that they were like medicine for my feet! Since then, I've probably purchased about twenty pair of Asics and mostly the Nimbus line. Happy to share that with few exceptions, they've only gotten better with each iteration (aka - more comfortable while maintaining stability). I most recently picked up the Gel-Nimbus 27 and have run and walked in them for about three weeks. And while they provide the stability and cushion my feet desire. they're not as spongy and bouncy as the prior model - the Nimbus 26 - but for me that's a good thing. I will share that the toe box feels a bit larger than the preceding models, so perhaps it's worth taking the time to try them on before ordering. You might be able to go down a half size with this model. All in all, they're a fantastic running shoe.
