After wearing these shoes for a total of >100 hours i can confidently say the quality has gone down from the previous versions. I had the Gel nimbus 25 for 2 years as my primary shoe and only changed them because they began to fall apart and expected the same amount of comfort and feel from this new 27 generation. But that didn't happen. It feels like the material at the toe box is even more plastic and synthetic and areas fold down into the toes and cause a constant point of friction that is very uncomfortable after only a couple hours wearing them. The fabric feels less breathable than the previous one and my feet feel hotter overall. I can't wait to take this shoes off and am disappointed with how the Asics quality has dropped when they used to be my go to shoes for quality and comfort. I will consider Brooks or New Balance or anything moving forward.
