Awesome Shoe For So Many Reasons
Nike my whole life. I decided to try a different shoe because I felt like my Nike invincible 3’s were causing knee trouble from too much bounce back. The gel made sense in my head so I hoped the engineering team got it right. They did. The shoe is soft but firm. Easy on my 46 year old joints, but enough firmness without the bounce to make it fully enjoyable to run again. While I’m not thrilled with the aesthetics, the overall shoe is amazing.I’d give them six stars if I could. I just wanted to run again. Thank you ASICS engineering team. I know this wasn’t easy. Looking forward to future tech from you guys!

Multiple Issues.
I've ran in 11 pairs of Asics over the past 11 years and these are by far the worst running shoes that I've ever had. My previous runners were Nimbus 24's which were great. The Nimbus 27's lead to Blisters, black toenails, rubbing on the outer heel, a cyst on the top of my foot under the tongue and laces. The lacing system is critically flawed. I can't recommend buying the Gel Nimbus 27's to anyone.

Best Cushioning With Stability
The cushioning is excellent. Of all the running shoes I've tried (Asics and others), the cushioning on the Nimbus is the best I've tried, and without giving up any stability. Running feels really good without the feeling of running on pillows.
