Perfect Road-to-trail Running Shoe

Amazing fit especially from the vantage point of a flat-footed athlete. I wish the TR series came in a wide but for those of us with a 4.12 inch mid-foot or less a wide is not absolutely necessary. The toe box has ample room and so does the heel.

Looks Great, Performs Not So Great.

So, the changes that happened from GT-2000 13 to the new ones are noticeable. The looks no the TR model is awesome, however, the performance gotten from them is not the best or even good. The sole is a big under performer. It is slippery on both surfaces trail or road, and not even a big technical trail, just some wet grass and little loose terrain and it's kind of a hazard. The shoes look great, are comfortable, but this not a trail running shoe, little disappointed because Asics is my main brand and I got the shoes for it's intended use and now I find that I can't use them for that.

So Close To Perfection But Need Improved Outsole.

These would be absolutely perfect if they had a true trail running outsole instead of the foam outsole with little pieces of rubber glued on (that peel off).
