Supportive, Comfortable, Long Run Favorite
This is my third pair of Asics Novablast 5. I am a marathon runner and have rather high arches. I have had issues with my achilles tendon and plantar fascia and these have helped tremendously in recovery. My only complaint is that they don't last very long. I am on my third pair in 8 months. I do put a lot of miles on them though.

No Arch Support
I ran in ASICS for years, and the reviews on the Novablast 5 encouraged me to try again. As soon as I tried them on I remembered why I switched. These are lightweight and cushioned, but they have no arch support. I have high arches, and running without good support is painful, so I returned them without running in them
