Great Shoe

Great all around running shoe. A little on the firm side, but very light given the stack height. A perfect shoe for long runs and tempo work.

Fast Training Shoe

I found the ASICS Superblast 2 to be a good example of today’s non-plated super trainers. With their cushy high stack and steep drop the shoe propels you forward and dares you to pick up the pace. If you can comfortably wear ASICS running shoes, and you want to put on the miles, then you should give this shoe a try.

A Supercharged Upgrade For Daily Miles Nd Long Run

The ASICS Superblast 2 is a standout in the max-cushion category, offering a rare mix of comfort and responsiveness. It’s a do-it-all trainer that feels just as at home on slow recovery jogs as it does on tempo-paced long runs. If you’re looking for a high-performance trainer that goes the distance in both durability and comfort, the Superblast 2 is well worth the investment. Exceptional Cushioning: The dual-foam setup—FF Blast+ and FF Turbo—offers a plush yet energetic feel underfoot. Lightweight for Its Size: Despite being a max-cushioned shoe, it feels surprisingly light

Runs Small, But Great Distance Shoe

I’ve been wearing ASICS for the last 12 years and I’ve always been a size 6 across the multiple styles of running shoes I’ve had over the years. I blind bought these shoes because of the positive reviews and I was looking for a marathon race day shoe to get me through the rest of my training and race day. I choose my normal shoe size (6), and was so excited to put them on and take them for a spin once they arrived. However, when I put them on I could feel the end of the shoe with the inside of my big toe. I was quite devastated because the teal color was so fun and they were sold out of a 6.5 online. I had to return these since it didn’t make sense to keep them with the kind of mileage I needed to shoes to get me through. However, at my local running store I found a super blast 2 in a 6.5. I decided to give these guys a chance and they’ve been really awesome shoes! I’ve got about 150 miles on them so far, just finished a 20 mile run in them. They were very comfortable, got some nice energy return, and have great ventilation. I would definitely buy another pair for distance running. They are stiffer than the Nova blast, which is what I needed and so far the foam is holding up. Definitely seeing some break down now that I’m 150 miles in but I’m hoping that they last another couple hundred miles at least! Good pair of shoes overall but definitely disappointed that the sizing is different with it being a unisex shoe and the sizing guide did not specify that these ran small.

Favorite Shoe Ever

This is my favorite running shoe ever. Good cushion, lightweight, and also responsive. You can do long runs and speed work since the thickness of the sole gives the shoe some rigidity. I got 320 miles out of my first pair but I supinate so I put a lot of wear in one area of the sole. If you’re a neutral runner you can definitely get 400 miles on theses shoes.
