May Have To Switch Brands

Let me start by saying I love these shoes from the comfort aspect. They are my favorite walking shoes by far. And my feet/knees love them. But the fabric is awful!! I purchased these 1/29 in the purple (no longer listed), and they already have a hole in the top! My pair before these the inner fabric at the ankle ripped. I may have to consider switching brands. The fact I strictly have used these for walking and got a hole, how do other athletes rely on these?? ASICS please revamp the fabric.
