Gel-Nimbus 27 is a dream, but size up. My athletic shoes are usually a size 9-1/2 but I had to size up to a 10 for the Gel-Nimbus shoe to fix properly--with a 9-1/2, my big toe was pushing up against the front of the shoe. In my Gel-Nimbus 26, the constant rubbing up against the front of the shoe traumatized my big toe nail, to the point it stopped growing. Instead it piled up. I eventually decided to have the toenail removed to give it a fresh start.
