Not Inexpensive But Worth The Investment

Been a fan of Away luggage for a long time. We purchased a set for our daughter & son in law but not for ourselves. We finally did, & we are beyond happy. We’ve had soft sided luggage for as long as I can remember so this was going to be quite a change for us. One big difference is when you open it you have to open it completely to have full access your items where soft side all the items are on 1 side, so to speak. The color (Ruby haze) is beautiful. All the zippers are strong. The outsides are firm but some what flexible, when you overpack like we did. Also, love the interior features: zipper closure on one side with an added small zipper pocket on inside & opposite side having a firm flap to clasp closed over that side of your items & has 2 mesh zipper pockets on the flap. The wheels seem good, roll easily, 360 turns, & rubber covering for traction. I did have a couple of rolling issues going from one uneven surface to another but it could have been user error. On a side note there was also a cloth to use to keep the luggage looking nice after the harsh conditions of traveling; because “scuffs happen”. We travel 3+ times/year & husband travels for work frequently. Glad we are just as happy with our set as our family is. I truly feel we’ll have our set for years to come. Would highly recommend.

Nice But Expensive

I bought the large, the medium, and the carryon. I decided against the larger carry on because you have a better chance of keeping the smaller one with you if you’re flying on a smaller jet or internationally. There are some great features to this suitcase; it is quite well designed. I did have trouble fitting my train case containing my cosmetics & toiletries inside due to the internal divider. I just switched from softside to hard shell luggage, and I do miss the outside pocket for a book or sweater or stashing last-minute items. Also, these suitcases roll better than my old Samsonite, but not as smoothly as my husband’s TravelPro. In summary, this is really nice luggage - not sure it’s worth the price?

Great bag! Rolls well and I was able to pack enough for 2 weeks easily. Good features.

Great Carry-on

I had previously ordered the large flex suitcase and I liked it so much that I bought the smaller carry-on for a shorter trip. I love it. It practically rolls itself so big muscles not required to push it around. I use the cubes to pack and I was able to fit so much in it and it looks nice and organized inside.

Oooh Olive!

Love the olive green colour! I have this carry on in blue and purchased this one for my partner for an upcoming trip. Same great Away quality, different colour! He loves it!
