Outside Pockets Are Worthless
Very attractive bag. Internal/external stitching is impeccable. Smooth wheels even over cobblestones in Europe. However, huge drawback, the external pockets are so tight that even an iPad doesn't fit. Space to quickly stow an item or two is essential. Pockets need gussets to allow for expansion. Because of this flaw, I cannot recommend this bag.

Strong And Smooth
This carry-on bag is surprisingly spacious and well designed. It comes with a laundry bag and a separator, as well as a little bag on the side, and a quick-access outside pocket in the front. The build is very high-quality, and the wheels roll quite smoothly, making it easy to manouver through busy crowds. The handle extends and collapses very quickly, and it too is very sturdy. I would highly recommend this product to any seasoned traveller.

Original Softside Expandable Was Better Than Newer One
Big fan of Away luggage/bags, and traveled every other week with the original softside carry on for the past 5 years and loved it. Had to get it replaced due to the handle sticking, and Away graciously replaced with the newer softside expandable. It has the same sleek exterior that I prefer to the hardside, but this iteration has a top flap with one-piece interior vs the original clamshell design. Understand that makes it probably more sturdy but this one doesn't fit as much stuff as the original does, from the front pocket to the interior capacity. You can see from the pictures you lose about an inch of extended space, which is a lot for me. I'll keep the new one for international flights but will try and repair my original as much as I can before I have to retire it for good.
