Perfect Larger Piece Of Luggage!
I was looking for a soft side piece of luggage big enough for a 10 day trip. It had to be light and well made. I also was thinking about a color other than black. This fit all my criteria and more! The structure, color and size are absolutely perfect! This is my second piece of luggage from Away.

Quite Heavy
This luggage has a good size for a larger capacity of items. It’s nice because it doesn’t butterfly to open making it easier to travel in smaller spaces. I returned my luggage as it is 15lbs on its own. Unfortunately, when travelling overseas and you’re only allowed 50 pounds it gets to that weight before it’s even full due to the weight of the luggage. Hopefully Away will come out with soft sided luggage that does not butterfly to open that is lighter weight!

New Soft Side Away Luggage
I love how the soft side luggage opens vs hard side . I really wish the bottom had a handle attached to that side to make it easier to lift onto a bed or table. Beautiful material and it rolls easily.

Not Sprawled All Over The Floor…
1st, I’ve paid my dues. I’m a former road warrior, as in 13 countries in one year and that wasn’t for leisure. I’ve had in my artillery a good round of luggage and this takes the cake. I’m not a fan of the 50/50 because I simply don’t like my luggage sprawled all over the floor. I like my clothes nicely stacked, like in my drawers at home. This luggage is the best, I’ve ever had- seriously. I love the prior and on top of it, the compression pad. THEN if I have a nice piece like a dress or leather jacket, I can lay that on top without it getting smashed but know that it will stay in its place. The stroll through the airport is like a marble on a slab of glass. The side compartments/ pockets, everywhere are a perfect touch. Just get this one, it holds an elephant, it’s not an 50/50 so you don’t need to take up floor space and just know, you’ll have zero regrets.
