Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light with Power I purchased this intended as a backup to my 10 year old Babolat Aero Drive. But it's the Aero Drive relegated to the bench. The lightness enables you to generate tremendous power without compromising accuracy. So, where's the tradeoff? Really not much, except it is less forgiving on volleys. But if you strike the ball in the sweet spot, it's winner, winner chicken dinner! Ireceived much more than I paid. Dick's was a pleasure to deal with, offering excellent value, and delivering ahead of schedule. If you want to improve your game, or even if you are choosing to play tennis for the first time, I recommend Drive Max 110.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Feel and Control I purchased this two years ago when I had no idea what I really needed to improve my tennis game. From the first return I felt the control and improved placement. The speed came a bit later with improvements to fundementals that had nothing to do with the racquet, but the Drive Max 110 gave me confidence to start playing strong without over concern for unforced errors. Very happy with this all-around great racquet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Racquet and good grip I bought this a few weeks ago. I have already used it in a couple matches. I can feel a significant difference compared to my previous one - good swings, good grip. I would buy this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Here's hoping . Because of the great reviews and the price point I purchased this product . My Babolat 105 Pure Drive was a great racquet for control but even when I backed off on string tension it did not have enough power from the base line I used Luxilon rough strings at 50 lbs . As soon as I got this new 110 Max Drive home I ripped the strings out and put in Luxilon 125 / 4 g / Rough at 50 lbs . .My group was away this week due to the Holidays but we resume play next Monday am. and I am hoping to give my wife back her powerful Wilson racquet that I tend to fall back on when all the others lack something .Fingers crossed .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Beginner's & Intermediate Racquet For the price, you're going to find this racquet hard to beat. It's a really nice beginner/intermediate frame, and the strings that come with it are decent, too (Spiraltek 16g). The frame is light and easy on the arm, and I immediately noticed an improvement in my game when I started playing with it.I demo'd a bunch of really nice racquets before returning them and purchasing this racquet, and the reason why is because I'm nowhere good enough to merit using a 98sq in, head light racquet, and if you're not at least an advanced intermediate, neither are you. Start here, and upgrade when you're a solid player. This racquet replaced a $22 Head racquet, and it's so, so worth it. I give it 4 stars because while it's a great racquet, it's not what I imagine perfection would be at this price point for a beginner/intermediate frame. Maybe when I upgrade the strings, it could be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Racquet I was starting a new tennis program and I wanted a new racquet because my old one was lacking. I looked into many options and this one seemed like the best racquet for my playing style (all-courter) and it was an amazing price compared to other racquets. It can generate good spin and great power... I love this racquet!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great All-Court Racket! This is an excellent racket for doubles, which for me requires more placement and feel than singles. It is stiff enough to provide power on ground strokes, and good and quick on vollys bec of it's light weight. Using lead tape I did have to add some weight to the racket at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions for stabilty on vollys. I also added weight at the 12 o'clock position for heavier serves and overheads. I brought the total weight up about an ounce - to about 10.6 oz. This is still on the light side for most rackets of this 110 sq. in. size. This racket comes pre-strung with Babolat SG SpiralTek 130/16 strings, which is an inexpensive sythetic gut - less than $5. However, these string do play surprisingly well with good feel and control. Babolat recommends Xcel /VS strings for this racket, so I am not sure why it is pre-strung with the SG Spiraltek? Probably has to do with the $$$s. This Drive Max racket may have been discontinued, but I am not 100% sure about that . . . Bec it is no longer featured on other sporting goods web sites. No matter what your play level, this racket is a winner! PS to Dick's: You def should add lead racket tape to your product line. I had to go on eBay to buy it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good racquet I think this is a decent pre-strung racquet, good balance, slight tackiness to the grip which makes it easier to hold. I had played with a different Babolat model before buying this one on-line and was not disappointed with the purchase. It even came with a zipper cover. I used to play a lot but have not played for several years, so enjoy the light weight and big sweet spot. I bought it on sale so thought it was a very good deal.
