Close To Perfect

I love the cart. Battery is light and easy to charge and install. The remote works great. Two minuses: 1. Manual “walk along” mode is hard to set to the speed you want. 2. Scorecard holder on the inside is useless. There needs to be a holder on the outside of the storage space (like the manual BagBoy cart).

Good Lightweight Cart

Pros: Great Cart, easy to lift and get in the car. Storage compartment is good Cons: Wish it had a brake for when it is in the car. It rolls around. Wish the wheels turned less abruptly, it is a bit jerky when turning. It does not go up big hills, either need to help it or go around them. Doesn't get great traction in the dessert if on any kind of incline. Wish scorecard could attach to fit on top of the storage compartment.

Great Cart With Some Imperfections.

I bought this cart a couple months ago and have 122 miles on it (yes it has a trip and total distance odometer). I like that it maneuvers like a non-electric push cart when you put it in manual mode or turn the battery off. Also the storage plastic bin plus the bag under it has plenty of room. I’ve noted three design/use issues. First, in order to take the battery out to recharge it, you have to remove the bag. I store my cart and bag at the club, so every time I arrive and leave, I’m removing and replacing the bag. Second, it’s tippy. It takes some time to get used to when you run over a root or rock, or go up a hill, where you need to be close to “assist” on the handle to avoid a tip over. Finally, the score card holder is useless at least for standard cards the I generally use. The space in the plastic bin cover is not wide or tall enough to allow the cover to close when a card is in the holder. One last item, the cart tends to “twitch” to the right even when traveling on a flat and level paved path. Overall, I like it better than my friends’ MotoCaddy and Stewart versions. Nice and quiet as well.

Score Card Awkward

Have had the cart for two weeks and why I didn't take this into consideration before I bought .... the set up for keeping score using a score card is miserable. The course card gets jammed into the flip up compartment that is really too crowded for the card making easy access impossible. They need to design a accessory attachment for easy use and accessibility for keeping score.

Satisfying Product

I have had this now for 6 weeks and have found the product to be gratifying. I was a previous owner of an original Bag Boy Navigator which lasted 17 years and still going thus prompted me to move into a better and lighter world regarding materials and the battery. Our course front is a very hilly up and down track which shows the new Volt's weaknesses. I have found I need to be close or walk with it going up and down to prevent a "digger" but I am not pushing it just guiding. I attribute this to such light material construction and a very light front end. As for our back 9 its flatter but still with inclines but the cart manages things just fine. Many more positives than negatives starting with battery lightness, cart lightness and ability to move right in a manual mode and pushing is so easy! Battery can go an easy 36 and if i favor the back 9 I could go at least 1 more 9 with some intervention of manual mode. Controls are easy and remote is excellent. Storage if great and the attachment top lock system has not failed even in the two tip overs I have had. All in all this is a good product compared to the vast selections out there of electric carts. I have recommended this cart and many have followed with purchases from our pro shop hope it lasts as long as my original Navigator
