Grippy And Stable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great mat. The surface is super grippy and sticky, and is suitable for hot yoga where the vinyasas are flowing and the sweat is dripping. Any sweat is absorbed right into the mat and it continues to retain grippiness even in the sweatiest of practices. As for support, I find it to be stellar. It's a good amount of padding without compromising your connection with the earth. The shape is as cute as it gets! It's a dupe for Liforme. Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been looking for a mat for a while and once I’ve used this mat from Bala I’m never looking back! Love the girly and playful design and the colors they offer are just gorgeous!!! It’s super soft (I could fall asleep on it) but don’t be fooled, it doesn’t make you slip when using socks, which was an issue for me with mats from other brands.

I Love My Bala Mat!!

I Bought The Mat The

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the mat the in the light green color. As soon as you take it out of the box, you can tell how well made and sturdy it is. It feels great to sit, lay and do yoga on. My biggest issue however is that it stains really easily. If I had known that beforehand, I would have held off and purchased the black one when it was back in stock. Any oils will stain the mat and I must have been wearing Albolene during my workout that day, because the mat stained in its first use. I see some water specks as well that clearly happened from sweat. I’ve washed/wiped down with warm soap and water as recommended twice now. The Albolene stain is getting lighter and lighter, but it’s still there. The mat is great, but I would recommend buying the darkest color you can because of this issue. And Bala, please make the warning about how easy the mat can stain more obvious - and make darker color options. Some of us use lotion and oil on our bodies to moisturize :)

Sand Play Mat
