Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent bow I have put 400 bolts through this crossbow. Still have original string. Looks like it could last another 100. The issue I have noticed is the scope rings do not fit the rail well. It will allow the scope to move around. I replaced them with a quality set and now it will stay sighted in. Decent bow for the money just buy new rings like Leopold 1” for 20 dollars. It will save you a lot of grief.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple but Impressive I rarely review but I researched hard and am impressed with this crossbow. My sons 8 & 5 shoot compounds but my 8 year old was ready to deer hunt this year and can't yet pull back poundage for deer hunting. Most adult crossbows were too heavy and he can't get his arm comfortably around the stock to pull the trigger. This is much lighter, though they still need to rest it on something. I didn't want to spend too much not even knowing how he'd take to it. This price, around $130 on sale, was surprisingly well worth the product. It sighted in quickly with basic carbon express pile drivers I purchased. We've shot it very accurately out to about 35 yards, but for hunting seems best within 30 or so. Rage 100 gr crossbow broad heads worked well. He had a mature doe at 20 yds and she never flinched before the bolt hit her. She was down within 75 yards. I like that I can pull back by hand and overall seems to be of very good quality for the price. Dicks let me try shooting it in their mini range which was helpful for my decision making.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for beginners and price is just right and comes with a scope I shoot targets from 20 to 35 yrds... That's good enough for me... and it's light weight and keep strings waxed...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great buy... Best bow for the money it held just as tight of a group as my dad's reverse crossbow... could use a little more speed but proven to work in the feild...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent purchase for a new bow user This is one of those purchases where the advertisement lived up to the product. Fully assembled in ten minutes and the scope zeroed in within 12 shots (after I realized you had to unscrew the caps on the scope). Groundhogs your days are numbered!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice cheap crossbow It's nice and super light. I shot it a few times but nothing longer than 30 or 35 yards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recruit Recurve The perfect crossbow 59 years old bought my first crossbow, Was very skeptical thinking price only. This crossbow is dead on at 40 yards after a little scope adjustment. I love it.When I shoot my 3d deer, I have to put my body against the deer an use two handsto remove the arrows. It is very powerful. I cock it by hand with gloves on, it's not that easy. I use 20" Carbon express 4 " vanes and If I shoot less than 30 yards I will hit my arrows. I love it, bought it black Friday, and if I can get another one at that price I'll own 2 of them.Jerry from R.I.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I've never owned a crossbow before this one. I expected the product to be okay at best, but it's absolutely perfect for someone who's new to using one. It's a simple assembly and took less than 20 minutes. It really feels like a weapon, some reviews said it's cheap and plastic but I completely disagree, it's made with the same kind of plastic that car interiors are made from and is in no way a toy.Others said it broke or dented the product after fired for the first time but it says in the instructions there is a wrong way you could do it and says not to put it together like that or it could damage the bow.As for arrows I got 20 inch arrows to go with the 18 inch ones. As spares, both fit but the 20 inch fit better.overall it's wonderful and very fun. I don't intend to hunt with it but I'm sure it's very capable. 11/10 easy.
