I bought these pads for my son who’s 5’10 and 170 lbs. They provide great coverage of the sternum, collar bone, and shoulders, but the shoulder pads are somewhat oversized. If your son is a LB, CB, or S/FS then it’s fine, but if your son is a receiver like mine then the shoulder pads are a little too big around the shoulder area. Other than that the pads are really good.

My son didnt like the school provided shells so we tried this and he likes it so much better. More mover frindly and flexible. He said id comfortable an breathable.
