I bought these pads to replace my 11yo sons Xenith shoulder pads he outgrew. Was skeptical on these since i only reviewed online and Battle is new to the shoulder pad market. I was pleasantly surprised when i was able to get my hands on them in store. These are quality shoulder pads! very well built & extremely light in weight. My son has excellent range of motion in the shoulder and arm area but still has very good protection in the shoulder, chest and neck area. Biggest selling point for me was the big very well padded neck roll that covers the collar bone area. haven't seen that attention to detail in that area in any other brand. Battle did a good job on these shoulder pads. would definitely recommend for youth football players.
