Skate Guards
I’ve always used the soft Bauer skate guards. Wipe blades dry with the outside of the cloth guard, then cover the blade.

Run Small?
We got these skate guards to go with the size 10 Bauer hockey skates we bought my daughter. It says they fit skate sizes 10-13, but I feel like they barely fit my daughter's size 10 skates. I'm not sure how much the blade size changes between the sizes listed, but if the blades do get longer when going up a size, I don't see them fitting any of the bigger sizes very well. For a size 10 skate they work well though!
