They are not bad at all. I wear a woman's size 7 - 7.5 wide in shoes. The size 5 fits me perfectly! I will have to purchase inserts for a more comfortable feel. I desperately wanted these but they had none my size at Pure Hockey to try on. Although, they said they can order and have it shipped, I was just not comfortable with that. I like to try things on and see for myself, plus I was afraid I would end up receiving a used or someone's return. Okay so the radiant heated ice skate are more comfortable than my blue Hockey Bauer intermediate around the toe box area. By the way, I wear a size 4 on the blue intermediate hockey ice skate. I still like them nonetheless. I wear a size 4.5 on the Bauer Mission inhaler FS2 Rollerblade. The size 4 fits me perfectly but I had to go with a 4.5 because my right foot was wider. The toe box there was not great and it felt like metal was jammed into my bone. I dislike larger sizes but sadly have no choice there. 😔 Bauer needs to upgrade and make more of these skates/ice skates for wider feet. However, I do dislike around the ankle area. Once tied and standing up, you can not stand up straight at all. The way that it's build, it makes you lean forward automatically by force. I'll be taking them out this weekend since I just purchased them yesterday. I'll probably switch around with my twins since they have the white figure skating ones. Those doesn't push ypu foward at all. Lol. I'm glad we kind of wear the same sizes in these Bauer. Also, on the web it stated that the heated ones come presharped and ready to skate. That's great and you don't have to spend money on sharpening them. Nothing is free anymore nowadays! Many places have fees like you wouldn't be believe just for sharpening.
