I purchased these for my teenage son. He loves the fit and easy of use of these Hockey skates. However, the skate laces seem to loosen too much when actively ice skating. He had to frequently stop skating to tighten the laces. As a result, I ended up purchasing wax laces and that significantly improved the situation as his laces remained tight during active ice skating. All in all, the Hockey skates are a great value other than the fact that the manufacturer needs to ditch the current laces on these Hockey skates and get a better brand that retains tightness of laces.
