Rated 3 out of 5 by from Helmet Mirror This mirror takes a little getting used to, and can be frequently out of whack and needing some fine adjustment each time you put your helmet on, as it protrudes from the front visor and can bump into things when you put on or remove your helmet. It attaches quite easily, but the attachment method (double-stick foam tape) isn't ideal, and it takes some fooling with to get it flush with the helmet surface and usable for the wearer. It is one of those accessories that takes some getting used to, to make it work correctly. I've been told that you'll either love it or hate it. I'm still trying to love it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great item...if you don't plan on using it. This mirror has great intentions. The mounting system comes with several extra pieces of the double-sided foam tape to give you multiple chances to get it positioned correctly. After using each one of these I was at a complete loss. The device itself lacks a full range of motion to make it adjustable. The closest I could get to being able to see anything behind me required me to lift my chin up as far as I could. This is not what I would call a mirror that you can quickly peek and get the view you need. This item was given to our dog. Maybe he can make better use of it than I can.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Essential equipment This mirror might be the best "investment" of any cycling related equipment I own. Being able to see traffic and who is drafting is absolutely essential on a ride. And, unless you're able to look upside down under your arm as the pros do (I cannot!) this mirror is the way to go. It's also better than handlebar mounted mirrors because you can see a larger area just by turning your head.It could be better if it were a bit sturdier so that it would not vibrate as much and go out of adjustment in a strong wind, but for the money, it's excellent.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just look over your shoulder In theory this mirror sounds nice, but it's more of a nuisance than a safety tool. The stem is too short to be able to glance at the mirror without straining, however if the stem as longer it would obstruct your normal vision. The mirror is too small to be able to see anything coming, just like the stem though, if it was any larger it would block your view. Since you should never rely solely on the mirror and always check over your shoulder anyway, I would recommend cutting out the unnecessary step and just look over your shoulder

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As advertised. Good product. I stopped using a rear view mirror years ago. Thought it made me look less pro and more rookie. A lot of guys I ride with use various rear view mirrors & urged me to get one. Older now, more sensible & less egotistical, I got this one. It serves the purpose well. The stem that holds the mirror is a bit wiggly but it does what it's supposed to and I really like seeing what's coming up behind me on the road; if I had to dodge something, I could! Sensible, practical, safe. . . for ALL riders of any age or style.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too small Not worth it for me. Handle bard mirrors are better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work for me. Yes, I suppose you could attach it to any helmet, but that doesn't mean it will be functional. I've got a really basic Schwinn helmet with an adjustable visor, and there is no good place on that helmet to attach the mirror without interfering with the visor. Maybe if the stem was a little longer and the pivot points more adjustable this mirror would be ok. For me, it's absolutely useless... And the plastic construction seems flimsy at best.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mirror snapped off on second use. It was difficult to find a place on the helmet to stick on the base and have it in the right position. The two moving pivots were difficult to adjust. The mirror is small and has a very small field of vision. I was always trying to readust it. Finally, while trying to adjust the mirror, it snapped off because it was hard to tell when it was at the adjustable limit, being so hard to turn it.
