[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jazzed on this knife, treated my self to a nice knife to celebrate an accomplishment and the difference between my $45 Kershaw and this is noticeable. Much lighter even know it is a bigger knife, smoother action, and sits in the pocket way better.

Excellent Quality
I bought this a week ago and I don't see myself ever regretting the purchase. It took me some time to decide on it because of the price point, but once you hold it in your hands, you see that every dollar is justified.

Fantastic Edc
The Benchmade 940 has become a top edc pick. I love the blade length, light weight, and carrying profile. The steel is excellent, the blade is versatile and the axis lock makes deployment a breeze. A great all-around knife that should last a life-time and then some.

Very Solid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this knife 8 or so years ago and have beat on it. It has held up to a lot of abuse. Super sharp when i got it. The edge held for a while but if you are actually using this knife, you will eventually have to sharpen it. It takes patience to get a nice edge back. Crazy hard steel. Great knife overall. It has done so much for me. Worth every penny.

Fantastic Knife But Wouldn't Expect Anything Less From Benchmade
I bought this about a month ago and it has been a part of my edc ever since. It holds a razor edge for about a week at a time but I am also hard on my knife.

Awesome Warren Osborne design. Awesome Axis action. The 940 is one of the top 5 knife designs ever. Awesome Benchmade Lifesharp warranty. I ordered this knife and received the satin blade like James64 but I prefer the satin finish so for me a win. Great EDC. You won't find this knife cheaper anywhere when you use a $20 off coupon. Buy this knife, you won't be disappointed.

You May Not Receive The Black Blade Color
I just received this knife and it does not have the black blade as advertised even though a black blade is your only option. Unfortunately this knife is not available at my local Dick's Sporting Goods so I can not swap it out for the right product there. Guess it will be a return. Not a big deal but BEWARE if ordering this item for Christmas 2017.
