Line was fine but this is my 3rd time buying this rod returned my 2nd one since my first one I snapped it myself but the 2nd and 3rd one came all broken. Do not buy this online.

I have been using Berkley Trilene Big Game Monofilament Fishing Line here in Florida sense 1992 under all kinds of conditions it has brought in many large mounts over 8 lbs the largest 12 lbs and has never let me down even has pulled in a couple gators and a few large turtles, fishing live shiners. I highly recommend this line for any type of fishing.

Great Affordable Line
This is a great affordable fishing line. Trilene has been around for a very long time. Works very well and compared to other lines is much cheaper. Berkley doesn’t skimp on quality. Never had a problem.
