Everything You Want In A Tent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a bigger roomier tent for car camping trips and it performed perfectly. Stayed in below freezing weather every night and ran a buddy heater all night, definitely helped keep us warmed, rough guess 15 degrees warmer than the outside temp? It was just my wife and I on this trip, we used a double size Exped mattress and had tons of her in the tent and had plenty of room to spare. I’d say would fit a family of 4 comfortably, or two full size cots comfortably, or if everyone was on the ground could do 4-5 pretty easily. There was good separation between the rain fly and tent body, which is the most important thing for me. Folds up easily into a nice small package, easy to pitch. I was two stakes short in the bag, I staked out each corner of the body, 6 for the rain fly (2 front, 2 sides, 2 back) and then all guy lines. Idk if that was a mistake or just how Big Agnes outfits the setup. No severe weather on this trip, but I’d guess that it would do fine in some good rain or snow (snow without alot of wind, it’s not a 4 season so the fly doesn’t go all the way to the ground). I’d suspect snow and strong wind would get some blowing under the fly.

So Much Room For Activities!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought and used earlier this month, Moosejaws delivery was quicker than the date given when I placed the order. I also purchased the foot print to go along with. Was my first time setting up a tent that has the center hub style with poles sliding into the hub. The hub style does take up more room when packing away, but simple to use along with the clips of this bunk house tent. Took 10-15 minutes to setup, assisted by my wife, including putting on the rainfly/vestibule. Corners of tent are color coded for the footprint and vestibule for ease of direction. Tent space inside is very large!! We had the BA Big House 6 prior and thought it was big, but is way smaller than this Bunk House!! Be aware, if not guyed out, this tent will take off in the wind! We had a gust of 30mph come through while we were packing the vestibule away, and the tent rolled over a couple of times until we caught up to it. Only other must know is that the tent in its bag takes up some space as well, more so than our Big House, but not a problem for car camping. Zippers are easy to use, no binding or catching on the nylon, all pockets are functional though we have added the gear lift for more storage spots. Def recommend this tent for families and car camping, and if you’re like us with, a couple with 3 large dogs. Plenty of space inside the tent and the various configurations of the vestibule as well. BA uses quality materials and we are happy with this one, again, our 4th BA tent!
