[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently downsized from the copper spur hv ul2 to the ul1 and wanted something to add durability to the tent floor. This footprint not only provides this durability, but it also allows me to leave the tent body at home and just use the fast fly setup on trips that I know the weather is going to cooperate. Sure you can make a ground sheet out of polycro or tyvek, but you lose the flexibility of the fast fly setup. For me, this is an excellent addition to the tent and the weight is negligible.
