[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my eye on the tent for a few years now. While it is a bit more expensive than what I have spent on tents in the past, I can honestly say that I am very happy that I decided to go ahead and get it. The lower weight and smaller pack size of the Copper Spur UL1 made a big difference in my base weight and pack volume requirements. I am trying to get down to a smaller pack size for trips more than 3 days and the tent size was one of biggest issues. I know this tent is marketed as "HV" (high volume), but I was honestly surprised how much roomer it feels compared to my previous 1P tent. I am 6"3" and there is plenty of head room for me to sit up without worrying about touching the top with my head. I really like the quality of the stakes that come with the tent. This is one of the first tents that I did not immediately replace the default stakes with something better. I haven't had a chance to really, truly use the "porch" that you can create with your trekking poles, but I can see how that will be very useful for cooking in a light rain. It did rain slightly on the second night of my first trip out with the new tent and I had no issues, as you would expect in that scenario. I did break one segment on the pole the very first time I used the tent. It was 100% user error. I called and emailed Big Agnes, provided the required info, and they gave me the option to send it in for repair (no charge for the repair service) or to just have the part shipped to me, along with a video that explains how to perform the repair, which was quite easy.
