Ultimate Upgrade From Msr And Nemo

This is one of the best tent you can find in the market. It looks astonishing and it hold up tight in windstorm. The interior is spacious and it is super light for a tent for 3.

All Around Awesome, Beyond Expectations In Rain!

We've had our Copper Spur UL3 since 2020, for backpacking & some car camping and love it. We just returned from backpacking where we unexpectedly got caught in rain. Even after about 15 hours of a mix of thick drizzle and medium downpour, we emerged bone dry. The fly was completely soaked on the outside, but we had no problems with drips (water that got through seams channeled down the poles) or condensation.

Best Tent In Its Class

For backpacking, this tent is a ten out of ten. Ultralight weight, high ceiling, two doors, interior mesh pockets everywhere. It has met, even exceeded, my expectations.

I Would But This Product Again And Again And Have!

I have always liked the Copper Spur HV UL. Always light and easy to set up. This new update is lighter than before and how they did it makes sense.

Copper Spur 3

We bought the Copper Spur 3 for a 2.5 month bike touring trip in Europe. The built in pockets inside make long term tent living much more organized. Our panniers fit under the vestibule easily and the ventilation is great. Tent is quick to put up and take down, and so far has performed well in bad weather. We are super happy with our purchase.

I Would Buy This Product Again.

I have been a fan of the Copper Spur HV UL3 for a long time. It is one of my favorite tents. This new update is impressive. Easier to setup, zips where you want them, and inside pockets just right.

Two Person Luxury

My wife and I have been using this tent for three years and love it. It's light yet has tons of room. The pockets and loft are super useful for stashing our necessities.

Incredible Tent

I absolutely love this tent for backpackingso lightweight and easy to set up, and really keeps the elements out. It seems to hold up well also. It is my go to for everything.

Great Versatility.

I originally got this for backpacking/hunting. It rains a lot in the PNW so even by myself, I want a place to keep gear out of the rain and I don't like being crammed into a "2 person" tent that only fits 1. I also use this when I go on Wildland fires. I love the versatility of this tent and it still being able to pack down small. If it's hot/dry, I open up zippers. If it cool and wet, I don't. There's plenty of space under the vestibules to put by dirt boots and pack. I sleep on a low cot and there's room for it as well. If we go backpacking, there room for both of us and the pups but not a lot extra (dogs are large breed). Even with all of that different use, it's held up great. I would, and have, recommended this tent to others.

Great Ultralight Tent!

Great backpacking tent for our family of 3. A little snug, but it fits us fine, and that's the price you pay for such a light 3-person option. Fly is super modular, which is great. Good storage inside, and easy to set up. Lightweight zippers will start to fail after a couple seasons of normal use, but not too hard or expensive to get Big Agnes to repair them.

Best Tent I Ever Have

Over the years we have used our Big Agnes many times a year. We are rafters and the BA (Big Agnes) has gone on all the adventures. It has rafted the Green and Colorado for many years. We are on our 2nd B.A. We always do a spring trip for a weekend to kick off the season and test the gear. This particular year we were on Ruby for the maiden voyage. Camped in one of the many sites. We had our B.A. and camp set up. Others had other brand tents up. If you have ever floated ruby in the spring, you know the winds can be horrific. We could hear the wind coming down the river, the panic set in. People ran for their tents as the other brands would end up in the river. We knew the B.A. would stand. We have put our B.A. through this so many times it has never failed. This tent has been through so many sand storms the zippers wore down. The material is still perfect. Sadly after 8 years of abuse and use the tent went to other uses covers the 4 wheelers in the winter and we welcomed our new B.A

Simply The Best

I've taken it on numerous shorter backpacking trips as well as some multi-night trips to Halape and Kalalau. This tent has held up well - no leakage or any problems. Well worth the investment.

Have To Think Twice About The Purchase

Wanted a tent that was roomy enough for my hiking partner and our respective dogs. This had good reviews, plenty of room, and good pack weight to warrant giving it a go. If I recommended this tent, it would be with some caveats. I love the room-- the weight to space is awesome - lots of room in the vestibules for packs and boots. We figured out to sleep with our heads in the narrow part, and left more room for the big dogs. My biggest beef is the fragile fabric. I know it's supposed to be light weight, but I have to use extreme caution. The first outing, the tent got struck by a falling branch, and it split the fly, giving it about a 3" rip. I use a ground sheet both under and inside of the tent because of the dogs. Even with that protection, the fabric still split about 12" on the floor. We had to piecemeal the pieces of tenacious tape along the split so it didn't tear more during the trip. Bottom line- I like everything about this tent except its fragility.

First Ul Purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wife and I are expanding into UL backpacking and needed a tent that can fit us and our dog. So far everything is great, and I am hoping to give it a thorough shake down this summer. Only thing I am worried about is durability, but I have faith in Big Agnes!

Great Divide Mountain Bike Route - Good Choice

We used this tent on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. It held up perfectly after 2800 miles. No faults at all.
