Big Agnes Torchlight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my son so he can stay warmer at the scouts winter camp out. It worked great in below freezing weather! The only suggestion I would offer is stuff the bottom of the sleeping bag to fill any open spaces, this is a adult sleeping bag so my son had open space in there the first night and he was a little cold but the next few nights he filled that void with his clothes for the next day and a blanket and it worked perfectly. Great purchase.

Huge Disappointment - Does Not Fit Wide Shoulders

I ditched my Kelty bags because of my wide shoulders and set out in search of a roomier mummy bag. I was thrilled to discover the Torchlight, because it sounded the solution to all my fit problems. Long story short, the bag doesn't come close to fitting with the side expander zippers closed. When I opened them both, I was still unable to zip the bag all the way up with the main zipper. And by the way, I'm 5'7" with a 48" chest. Not exactly what you'd call a monster. Last but not least, the fleece liner that is made for this bag is a joke. The top clip broke loose the first time I tried to get into both the liner and bag. They're both going back, and my next option will be a Thermarest Questar with Sea To Summit liner.

Expandable Sides Is A Big Plus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took my new Torchlight 20 into the Cascades last month. The low temperature hit 35 degrees. No problem. I slept comfortably all night. The big upgrade is the ability to expand the shoulder section by 10 inches. I sleep on my sides--both of them--and rolling over in a traditional mummy bag is very awkward and unsettling. The Torchlight 20 solves that issue very well. I am heading back up this weekend. Temperature are expected to drop into the mid-20's. We'll see how it goes! Durability rating is due to limited time with the product to date.

Love My Big Agnes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for side sleeping with a body pillow - the side zippers allow the bag to expand just enough. Cozy and warm, easy to adjust. I just love it.

Great Customer Service

I actually didn't try out this sleeping bag yet, it looks extremely thin I don't see how I can survive down to 15 degrees on this thing however it looks well built the zippers look great and it's well-designed I'm like a hair under 6 ft tall and I can fit in it and it's a little bit tight, so basically it looks pretty well-designed much lighter than I thought and hopefully it'll keep me warm down to let's just say 30 degrees that would be good enough for me, joking aside looks like a good value but I haven't tried it yet
