The Big Hammer™ swimbait is the "catch anything" swimbait. Whether you are targeting smaller fish or trying to match what larger fish are feeding on this bait will catch them all. When rigged on the appropriate jig head these baits are excellent for freshwater and saltwater species. In the West it is one of the most popular baits for inshore halibut and surf perch, white seabass, striper and Spotted Bay Bass. In the East it has proven itself as an excellent soft plastic bait for bass, trout and redfish.

You Can't Go Wrong With Big Hammer

I use 3in and 4in Big Hammers as my go to swimbait on 1/4th and 3/8th ounce swimbait heads. They have a great tail thump/ body wobble that it just right, not too little and not too much. The tail swims on the fall and does it's thing on the slowest of retrieves. I really like the keeled body because it helps it get down to the bottom quick, rather than round body swimbaits that might suspend in comparable situations with a ton of line out or in moving current. They are reasonably durable and they have a great color selection. They are literally the only swimbait I use on a swimbait jighead!
