All well-loved bean bags go flat with use, but not to worry! You can order our handy Single Pack bean refill to bring your awesome Big Joe back to life whenever you need to.
Our virgin polystyrene beans are 100% recyclable. Each bag contains 100 liters of rejuvenating beans.
The amount of beans you need will depend on the size of your chair and how flat it is: small chairs may need 1-2 bags, while larger chairs may require more. For child safety and durability reasons, all Big joe bean filled chairs have two zippers with their pulls intentionally removed before shipment.
To open your Big Joe, place a paperclip into the first zipper head, pull to open, and then repeat on the second zipper.
Detailed instructions can be found on the warning label attached to your Big Joe. And, you can use our fill packs for other reasons: packing material, arts and crafts, you name it!

Lots Of Regular Use And They Hold Up Great!
One bag each was enough to satisfactorily refill each of the two bean bags we have ! We have the chair shaped ones and they were super out of shape. I will say they still each had some beans left. They now sit upright and are extremely comfortable for use in the library area. I have had quite a bit of feed back from folks coming in who were surprised at how comfortable and sturdy the chairs were! Moreover, they have been in regular use for a month now and are still sturdy and full!

Bean Bag Refill
