I have been buying these for several years. The last two months I have bought 3 bags and the majority of the shells were empty. The quality has really declines and the price has only increased.

Empty Shells!
Been eating this same bag of seeds for years and suddenly I’m getting splintery shells that are empty. Just fully enclosed empty shells that splinter into little shards. So disappointing. This is the reason I stopped buying DAVID brand seeds.

I've had these before and had a similar problem, about half of the seeds are empty. I just had 4 in a row with nothing on them. I don't know if this is common but it seems this bag is especially bad with empty shells. The shells are intact, so it's not like open shells and all the seeds feel it, they are just missing when i open then. I don't suggest buying them even though they are good. You'll only be buying half of what's in the bag.
