The smell on this weight is terrible. I tried to wash it and the smell is just as strong. I unfortunately have to throw it away without one use out of it.

Horrifying Smell
If we could get the heavy chemical smell to dissipate we would really enjoy this product. We cannot keep it anywhere in the house without the entire place smelling like heavy petroleum / chemicals. We have even had it outdoors for over two weeks to no avail, it is now in the garage unable to be used. I am so disappointed because it is otherwise exactly what I was looking for in a workout aid. Unfortunately we no longer have the original packaging or I would return it.
