Keep It In Your Bag For If You Drop Yours

I got this tip from a long-time aid climber, and it makes a ton of sense to me. If you're going to go up a wall, it would really be awful if you dropped a ladder, so bring a small, lightweight backup. This one is great. Pretty compact, classic "pocket aider" style, and not that expensive, so you probably won't be mad about buying something you don't actually intend to use. Overall, seems like a good idea to have one

Great 5 Step

Comfortable to use. Would have liked a small pouch to compact and store it when not in use. 10/10 this is a sturdy lightweight 5 step.

New And Improved Alpine Aider

I got a third aider for a long traverse to go with my older alpine aiders. The new one uses burlier webbing— essentially the same dimension webbing, but thicker and stiffer. The loops are a minutely different, but again, essentially the same. Same length and number of steps.
