Out of the box, these trekking poles have to be adjusted with a tool to tighten the flick locks. On my first hike using the poles, the flick locks failed and the poles slipped making them useless for 50 miles. Had to get a special tool to adjust them. Second trip, the flick locks slipped off the poles and couldn't adjust the poles until I got home ot use the tool. Too expensive for what you get.

Still Getting Use To Them,
Still getting use to them, but the sticks are light, sturdy and comfortable to use. Very happy with them so far.

Alpine Carbon Cork Trekking Poles
Bought them for a Mtn Goat hunt in BC. Taking a tarp tent, so the poles will be doing triple duty. (Hiking poles, tent poles, and glassing shelter support in the rain. ) If things go well they may get used as shooting sticks.

My Fav Poles
I’ve used a ton of trekking poles and these are by far my favorite. They’re super lightweight and the cork handles feel great.
