I’ve been using the same battery for 3 years and is a must have

I got the charger and second battery so I could use my head lamp for longer without worrying about rationing battery charge. The charger is small and universal. Two batteries improves resilience. I wound up sharing the second battery with a companion on our last trip.

I have two Storm 450s as my go-to headlamps so I purchased two of these batteries- one with the charger. The charger takes up very little space since the cord detaches so I'm happy to bring it along with me in the event that I need to recharge (I usually bring power with me into the woods).

Exactly what was expected. Excellent quality and life. Works great with the BD Spot headlamp.

Fantastic product. I've been the die hard who has been holding out on switching to Rechargeable battery systems. This one is top notch and I should have transitioned a long time ago. Eliminates the problems with regular battery corrosion and the battery life of these little packs is really amazing. Fantastic product. And for the price, you can easily justify carrying an extra one for those long multiple night hauls !

Love the Storm 450 and ability for multiple battery types

Long lasting battery and I have used this for 5 days straight every night for fishing on the highest setting. Still a lot of juice left

Works well and charges fast! Wish it came with a charging block instead of only the cord

Came in nice packaging, seems like a solid little device and does what it's supposed to do!

Bought this on sale for my old storm 400. Just to find out it doesn’t fit that model. Batteries require extra shipping care. So sending it back doesn’t make sense.

Why does this have a separate charging dock required and not just a USB port like the petzl battery? Why doesn't it fit in other headlamps with flat and open battery box designs? Before long someone is going to need to create some standards in the major headlamp makers, just like what happened with sleeping pads and R value. OR JUST LIKE HOW AAA IS A STANDARD BATTERY SIZE. I don't want more stuff to lug around and lose like a charging dock. The ability to use this in place of AAA batteries should be a standard in headlamp design. . . however in the petzl headlamps I cannot use the BD battery, and in BD headlamps I can't use the petzl battery. . . . HOWEVER: Petzl created a flat no frills design to plug and play their battery interchangeable with AAAs. BD seems to have purposely designed their battery to not work in even the simplest petzl headlamp which is an open box to accept any battery design. BD has chosen to make their battery too thick and include ridges and bumps to prevent compatibility. If my team, or climbing party, or hunting group is out and we needed to swap batteries (bad on us for preparedness) but seriously when you're walking all night up and down mountains light can become vitally important and you shouldn't make it harder for teams to operate gear interchangeably. Get together with some other brands and do something good for us all in the outdoor industry and the environment considering battery production and not just your company.

Love the dual fuel technology, I had a couple already and was looking for just the batteries, but they were unfortunately out of stock so needed to get the combo. BD should always have the batteries in stock! In a 2 pack or 4 pack would be awesome.
