Is the better carabiners yes. is there better belay devices yes. is this a great value to enter into climbing 10000% highly recommend this as a first setup to get a base in the gym or with the help of a more experienced climber. If you are wanting a very safe belay device for medium to tall routes then get something that is a little more fool proof and safe. If you want to learn more highly recommend the youtube channel how not 2. Best data driven reviews out there, and offer lots of great knowledge of all kinds of climbing gear.
