i love the rechargeable battery life, and the red light feature is great for reading in the tent without the brain shock of bright, white light.

I've had this light for years and have used it camping, hunting, for SAR operations, and around the house. I just bought a few more, one for a gift and another for me to have laying around. Good beam/brightness options, long battery, light weight. Only thing wrong with this light is that the charging port needs to be updated to USB-C. Update the charging port and this is a 5-star light.

Purchased as a backup for my much larger Princetontec Apex headlamp. Very impressed with this little guy, surprisingly powerful for such a small package.

stands up so far. easy to use and adustable. Can't wait to test it's water resistance paddling in 2026

I like these black diamond headlamps so much. Something about the way they do the headband makes it very easy for me to adjust to my head. Lamp tilt down and can shine in my path. The dimming feature can get a nice dim, white light. Or the full bright is exceptionally bright. I use this when I'm backpacking. I like that the rechargeable option will work with my battery pack so that I don't have to carry spare AAA batteries anymore.

Love BD headlamps, and love this one in particular for its light weight, functionality (red light a must!), rechargeable long battery life. My one ding on the BD headlamps is that the headbands tend to stretch out over time, so I have to replace them every few years.

The rechargeable feature was a no brainer. Much better than carrying extra batteries. 350 lumens is plenty bright. It's easy to change the brightness and switch to the red light.

Pros: bright enough for everyday tasks, red light is great, easy to adjust brightness, textures on/off button is easy to feel through gloves, light is compact. Cons: the blue battery indicator lights shine brighter than the red light its self when turning the headlamp off, an upgrade to USBC would be nice, micro USB feels outdated.

Hey black diamond has always been my go to head lamp for dawn patrol ski missions or early morning runs. But now it’s rechargeable. Same solid light without the risk of the batteries needing to be changed

Just received this headlamp as a Christmas gift. Instructions make NO sense whatsoever. I have no idea how to turn this thing on, change the lighting mode, etc. Maybe someday I can change this rating, but as of now it is just a paperweight.

Great little headlamp. Very lightweight and bright enough for anything.

I like the rechargeable capabilities. Very bright head lamp and isn’t too heavy.

Over the years there has been an explosion of tech development; some things have improved life and others just complicate. The Cosmo 350-R is the perfect blend, giving you a functional rechargeable light without irrelevant bells and whistles. It works well and doesn't need disposable batteries, what more do you need?
