A good product, it provides adequate coverage, and they are comfortable...

These are terrific and worked as well as I'd hoped they would in the 2 times I've worn them so far. These feel very durable and I'm looking forward to putting them to the test more this season.

I was glad to find these lightweight gaiters. These are simple with a strong Velcro closure down the front. My ice climbing boots have a gaiters built in but I generally need something to protect my pant cuffs snagging my crampons, getting torn up and / or tripping me. These gaiters are tough and low profile, staying out of the way.

I don't know how I lived without these! I am a snowmaker at a Utah ski resort and in the past I was constantly having to deal with wet boots, water wicking up my pants, etc. That is a thing of the past when wearing the gaiters. They are very well made and durable. Additional bonus is they keep the early season weeds, stickers, and cockleburrs off my pants as well. Very simple and easy to use. I will never be work without them again! Three thumbs up!

Ordered XL for my side 11. They help bridge the gap on my buffalo salopettes in the snow as I’m 6’2” and the legs high water a bit. Velcro opener is great for easy on/off and the Black Diamond logo is a nice touch to evidence their obvious quality.

They work as advertised. We bought them for our 9 year old son. They go up to his knees but hold fast on a full day of fort making and snowball fights in deep cold snow.

My haters have taken all the abuse I have thrown at them for years. They are awesome I am happy enough I bought another set as a gift. I bought them for snow use - but they are rugged enough for use on sceei fields in summer.

Using these for snowshoeing in deep powder primarily. They’re perfect - like everything from BD… 🙏🏽

I am a winter adventure guide. I used these gaiters probably over 50 days this year in several feet of snow. The arch strap has held up even with trekking through tough terrain, and the Velcro is still strong. I can be tough on my gear, but these have held up well and still look professional enough to guide. Highly recommend these to anyone.

There is nothing better than having gear that you strap on and don’t have to worry about it doing it’s job or not. I just got back from using these in 3+ feet of powder in the Maroon Bells, CO without a single snowflake finding its way to my legs. I highly recommend these for any snowy activity.

I would see other searchers staying dry and comfortable in these while I was soaked and getting snagged by blackberry thorns and devils club searching for people or evidence. I first borrowed a pair of these for a summit of Mt Adam's recently and when a huge wind storm of 70+ mile an hour winds hit. Ash and smoke, from a nearby huge wildfire, sand and debris blasted my group. The gators kept the debris out of my boots and protected my legs from flying debris and from the rocks I was scrambling down blindly since my eyes were full of grit. I know most of my team depends on them in rain and other gnarly conditions as well. I finally bought my own pair and feel better knowing I have them for the PNW conditions. My feet will stay dry and my legs unscathed. Lesson learned.

These gaiters will last for years! Quality construction and design you expect from Black Diamond.

Climbing is a wild sport! So take some gear you can count on, these gaiters are tough, don't slip around while wearing them, help your legs stay clear of snow or a snagged crampon. So snag a pair today ps wear sunscreen

They are way to tight! I’m 5’9 180lbs and bought a large. I let my girlfriend try them on and she’s 5’3” 125lb and they might fit over her ski boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these about a month ago to use with my size 11 Scarpa Inverno mountaineering boots that I plan on using on a climb of Mount Shasta this winter. I haven't used the gaiters in the field yet but they fit well, are easy to put on and appear well made.
