Great Gloves

Great glove! I own several pairs of Black Diamond gloves, and these guide gloves live up to the same standard of durability and warmth I’ve come to expect. The build quality is excellent — tough leather, solid stitching, and plenty of insulation for cold, wet conditions. They break in nicely after a few uses and balance dexterity with warmth really well. Another solid piece of gear from BD.

Works Of Art But…

I ordered these gloves in a XXL; my hands are usually a L or XL. They are works of art from a construction perspective, and look like they will last a long long time. I know I did not break them in, they are new - and I’m going to return them - but they are very tight and stiff. If I’m going to cramp up my hands into gloves that feel like this I might as well wear a mitten. I think if you are willing to break these in you shall be rewarded with some very secure and warm hands.

Great Ski Gloves

These gloves are great for ski gloves in piste or off piste. Warm, removable liners gauntlet cuff, full grain leather where it counts. Durable to last season after season working as a ski instructor. Used these in high wind sub zero temps as well as deep powder. Top notches for these guide gloves. (They are useable in spring skiing but maybe bit warm for you; best suited for cold midwinter icey days)

Second Pair. Phenomenal Glove. Keep

Second pair. Phenomenal glove. Keep the leather conditioned and they will last for years. I prefer Obeneaufs.

Great All Around Gloves

The guide gloves have worked great for me after one winter of use. I have put them through the ringer skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling. I am excited to get them out for a second season of winter use.
